Thanks, Jen! That would have been a disaster! I didn't know it at the time, but he was secretly saving on the ring for months. He (and I) would have been heartbroken. I thought I lost the ring once a few months later when I couldn't find it for almost a week. Finally found it behind the bed...and since then I don't take it off at night anymore!

Cute story, Elisheva! I was a little scared that you were going to say that he was so nervous he dropped the ring in the lake. That would soooo happen to me!

It was a Regular Monday for me, and I was off of work and my Now Fiance had the week off for Chritmas. We normally have Date day on Mondays, so i didn't think anything of it. He asked me if i was interested in going to the Museum of Natural Science, which i have been dying to go with him to for 3years. So this Monday, Dec.14th 2009, he took me to the faberge' Exhibit of the Jewels to the Tsars. As we are walking thru the exhibit, i ask him, "Babe, why are your hands sweaty?" He said " just had them in my pocket" i didn't think anything of it.

As we got thru all the displays, we reach the very last one. It had a ring and a love letter, along with a sign saying " K- Diamonds" being " K " for Konwar, his last name. So, as he was reading me this letter, i was crying thinking that this was the most romantic letter i have ever heard. So i turned to Brian (my Fiance) and said, "why can't you write me a letter like that sometime" Not knowing that this letter was for ME! So, being clueless still at this point, he picks up the cover for the display and i am looking around and telling him, what are you doing? you will get us both arrested Babe! then when he pulled out the ring, i turned away from him and looked around to see if anyone was looking, and when i turned back around, he was dwn on one knee and said " Babe, will you Marry Me? " I was shaking so bad, and crying so bad, that i kept saying, "Are you Kidding Me" i couldn't believe this was happening to me and in the Museum of Natural Science during their displayof Faberge, Jewels to the Tsars. So perfect for a ring to be displayed.

I was sooo Wow'd and amazed and touched that my man was so creative and romantic. I always told him from day one, I don't care what the size of the ring is love, just make the proposal a memorable one and a story i can tell for years, and he did just that. I am so lucky to have such an amazing man in my life.

While visiting our college town for a friend's wedding, we visited the campus where we met. I dragged her out of the way to stop by the tree where we spent so much time together. Under it's branches, I asked her to marry me. She said yes. Of course, she saw it coming a mile away...
